Most MBA programs in Germany are relatively new. Several Business Schools are joint ventures between a private company and a university. Some American Business Schools offer also MBA courses in partnership with a German local university. THe majority of German MBA and also master programs are conducted in German, although many of them have an English course title.
Accredited German MBA Programs and German Business SchoolsThe majority of German Business Schools aim primarily for an MBA course accreditation with FIBAA. A smaller number of MBA programs also aim for an EQUIS, AMBA or AACSB accreditation.
MBA RankingGerman Business Schools have yet to catch up with MBA program rankings of French, British, Spanish and Dutch Business Schools. Those German Business Schools and MBA programs that appear in a ranking table sem to have a collaboration with an American Business School. The Financial Times only ranks one German Executive MBA program.
Fees for German MBA ProgramsFees can vary significantly. High fee does not guarantee an international high standard.
Germany MBA ScholarshipsMany German Business Schools provide their own scholarship programs. Several government organisations as well as foundations have also various scholarship schemes in place. Some German Business Schools aim to attract engineers and women to their MBA programs and have sepcial scholarships and awards in place to attract this student group.
